about

BLUE MAMBO JIVE are a song-writing collaboration formed in 2014 and based in Leicester, England. “Don’t Give Me No More Of That Existentialist Jive” is their first album. All tracks are self-penned, performed, produced and recorded at The Hop House in Worcester.

‘Bring your magic, bring your dreams, bring your bright tomorrows’

Their music is an idiosyncratic guitar-based mix of rock, post-rock, psychedelic, jazz-fusion and blues, drawing widely on the accumulated musical influences of the past half-century.

Here’s how others have described the music of Blue Mambo Jive:

‘Very atmospheric, exotic’

‘Quirky, slightly anti-attitude. Good stuff’

’Very 60’s sound – stylish too’

‘Particularly liked the guitar harmonics and lyrical storytelling element’

‘Great lyrics, fantastic production and sound. What’s not to like?’

***Videos of some of the songs on this album are available on YouTube.
